Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:

  • 5:46 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, police responded to the 3600 block North CR 100E, east of CR 350N, Warsaw to a moped accident where the driver, Angel Cervantes, 39, of 1692 E 200N, Warsaw, had been injured.
  • 10:35 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, Maria L. Sutton reported an individual violating a restraining order in the 1600 Block East 200N, Warsaw.
  • 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, Amanda Catherine Furrow reported an abandoned vehicle in the 2300 block US 30 and Arnolt Drive, Pierceton.
  • 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, Brian W. Clark reported damage to a mailbox and the theft of a dummy security camera in the 3500 Block West Union St., Claypool.

Warsaw Police Department

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:

  • 6:28 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, Marsh Supermarket reported a shoplifter stealing pencils, monster bars, hair dryer, frappucinno, monster coffee, donuts and milk straws. Most items were recovered by police from three juvenile females.
  • 12:49 p.m. Sunday Nov. 2, Charles A. Allen reported the theft of a laptop, metal fire pit and roto tiller, amounting to $1,300 in losses, in the 700 block West Center St., Warsaw.
  • 5:23 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, Shelby Jewell Pontius, 18, drove a Jeep Cherokee into water at EMS B61 J. Lane, Warsaw.
