Casey D. Pratt
WARSAW — Casey D. Pratt, 36, 3430 N. 400E, Warsaw, has been arrested for stealing money from her brother’s residence in early June. Pratt was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on charges of burglary, a level 4 felony; and theft, a level 6 felony. Her bond has been set at $15,250 surety and cash.
The affidavit of probable cause, filed in Kosciusko Superior Court 1, states on June 11, Pratt’s brother notified police that money he had been saving had been taken from his residence. He reported sometime between June 6 and June 11, someone entered his residence and took that money. Nothing else was removed. He told police he suspected his sister, Casey Pratt.
Additionally Pratt told police he confronted his sister and she admitted to him she had gone into his residence and removed the money. When interviewed by police, Pratt stated she waited until she knew he was gone and went into his home and removed the money without his permission.
