Robert Dale Gidley, 73, of North Manchester, died at 10:30 am, Friday, June 5, 2015, as the result of an auto accident.
He was born Sept. 13, 1941, in Wabash, to Robert Gidley and Doris (Dale) Paul.
He married Genny Alice Price; she also died June 5, 2015.
Bob was a 1959 graduate of Manchester High School. He retired from Manchester Tool and Die in 2013. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, bird and squirrel watching, and was a gun collector.
He is survived by two children: Scott Gidley of North Manchester, and Amanda Gidley of Silver Lake; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother: Jon (Jerry) Gidley of South Whitley, and their dog Tasha Marie.
He was also preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a private memorial service at the North Manchester Missionary Church. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, 207 W. Main Street, North Manchester.
Preferred memorial is Wabash County Cancer Society.
