The gymnasium and entry hallway is bursting with items to purchase for children at little cost. The event is being held at Bakers Youth Club, 765 W. Market St., Warsaw.
The event is free and open to the community to help local families.
Holly Borchelt and Michelle Gonzalez organized the Mom2Mom sale which lasts until 2 p.m. The event is an opportunity for mothers to clear out unused children’s items to make available to other mothers.
Borchelt stated there are 43 booths displaying anything dealing with children: some toys, furniture and lots and lots of clothing. Each vendor is responsible for their own items and will keep the money received. A fee was charged each vendor for use of the facility.
Mom2Mom, a new organization, is hoping to continue hosting such an event twice a year — fall and spring.
