Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
6:36 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, East CR 450N, east of North CR 100E, Warsaw. Driver: Gauge L. McPeak, 23, East CR 450N, Warsaw. McPeak lost control of his vehicle on ice, went into a ditch and struck and mailbox belonging to Denise Sheetz. Damage up to $2,500.
5:23 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, East CR 600N, west of North 1000E, North Webster. Driver: Billie M. Welling, 60, South Wildwood Drive, Cromwell. Welling was westbound when his vehicle began to slide, spinning around hitting a fence. Damage up to $2,500.
9:49 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, West CR 300N, Etna Green. Drivers: Debra S. Robinson, 64, West CR 300N, Etna Green, and John R. Rupe, 69, Lakewood Hills Drive, Warsaw. Robinson was backing from a garage and was preparing to turn around to drive forward. She backed into Rupe’s vehicle which was parked on adjoining property, not expecting it to be there. Damage up to $5,000.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
6:13 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, West Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Sharon A. Delong, 51, South CR 600E, Pierceton. Delong failed to see a light pole next to her vehicle, hitting the pole. Damage up to $2,500.
1:36 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, East Main Street, Warsaw. Driver: David M. Neace, 35, West Market Street, Warsaw. Neace, driving a truck registered to the City of Warsaw, was in the back alley attempting to back up and leave the fire station when he hit a NIPSCO Damage up to $2,500.
