Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
5:43 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, North SR 13 and East CR 800N, North Webster Driver: Michelle R. Hand, 40, Greenhaus Drive, Syracuse. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
12:17 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, West SR 14, west of South CR 500W, Silver Lake. Driver: Danielle M. Schultz, 23, Oak Glen Drive, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
4:45 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, North Biomet Drive, east of CR 200N, Warsaw. Driver: Antony Garza, 43, North Deer Run, Warsaw. Garza was westbound on Biomet Drive, as he exited the curve onto CR 200N, the vehicle slide on the ice, went off the road and into a ditch. Damage up to $5,000.
Winona Lake
Officers with Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
5:36 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, Seminary Drive, Winona Lake. Driver: Stephanie R. Cowan, 30, East Armstrong Road, Leesburg, and Brandi L. Grimm, 42, Roy Steeet, Winona Lake. Cowan was backing out of a parking space and did not see the Grimm vehicle leaving the parking lot. Damage up to $2,500.
