All are invited to attend a special ceremony for the installation of Leesburg’s life-size Nativity set at the town’s Clover Park at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29.
Clover Park is located on the south side of Van Buren Street in Leesburg.
The Nativity, which for many years was displayed in front of the bank on SR 15, was in disrepair. However the town’s local treasure was recently refurbished by town resident Danielle Robertson. A set designer in California for many years, Robertson’s talents made her the perfect person for the job.
The ceremony will include some interesting facts about the origin and history of the Nativity pieces, as well as some music by local musician Mike Todd. Pastor Mike Beezley of the Clunette United Methodist Church will share some inspiring words and conclude with a prayer of blessing.
