Michael Allen West, 73, 10554 N. Grove Road, Milford, died at 3 a.m. Nov. 20, 2014, at his home, following a 1 1/2-year fight with cancer.
West was born Sept. 4, 1941, in Warsaw, to Arthur S. and Marjorie West.
He married Judith Brumbaugh on April 1, 1979, at Milford Christian Church. She survives.
He was a lifelong resident of Kosciusko County, serving in the National Guard. He is a graduate of Warsaw High School and Ivy Tech Community College.
Additional survivors include three sons: Scott Hartter, Milford; Mark (Michelle) West, Springboro, Ohio, Kris (Jenny) West, Warsaw; two daughters, Wendy West (Rick) Hiner, Syracuse, and Krista Brumbaugh, Milford; and 12 grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at Christian Church of Milford with Pastor Stephen Leininger officiating.
