“I am delighted to be here with all these high ranking officials and soon to be high ranking officials in the state,” started Gov. Mike Pence, who also introduced the top ranking official in the state, First Lady Karen Pence.
“I do believe, in a few short days, it will be a great victory for our state,” stated Pence. “A great victory for our country. Indiana is going to lead the way with your help and the truth of the matter is, the state of Indiana is setting the pace across the country.”
The governor noted men and women of the state have stood “with those who have been willing to stand and make hard decisions on the basis of common sense, conservative values. We’ve been able to balance budgets, cut taxes, expand educational opportunities all across the state …”
Pence noted people are talking about the Hoosier state all over the country, as being one of the best places in America, the best place in the midwest, “to start a business, to grow a business, to get a job, one of the most innovative places in America for education, innovation and reform.”
The governor asked everyone to roll up their sleeves and go to work, getting friends and family members across the state to turn out Tuesday to “keep Indiana on a pathway to prosperity and liberty and growth and opportunity for all of our people and people across this land.”
Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann was among the dignitaries on the Gov. Pence Bus Tour Rally in Warsaw Saturday afternoon. Ellspermann introduced U.S. Rep. Marlin Stutzman.
“It’s always good to be back from Washington,” stated Stutzman, adding there are a lot of challenges today. “… When I come home, I see good leadership,” he stated, referring to the governor and legislators. “There’s one good thing to talk about in Washington right now. People come up to me and say ‘what are you guys doing in Indiana? You guys really have figured something out.’
“We are doing the right thing … we live in the greatest nation in the world. It didn’t happen by accident. We need to continue to fight for that freedom, fight for the opportunity, this is what America is all about right here. We need to send a strong message to those in Washington who want to change that.”
Nisly, who was introduced by Stutzman, stated “we’re in the final stretch to victory. For the last year I’ve traveled many miles. I’ve knocked on many doors listening to people of District 22. I am so thankful for this experience. It has prepared me to be your next state representative,” stated Nisly.
“District 22 wants representation. They want a listener. They want someone who will fight for their conservative values. I hear year and I commit to fighting for you and liberty in Indianapolis … to make a better District 22, a better place to live, work and raise our families.”
