Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 1:38 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 100 block EMS B6A Lane, Leesburg. Heather L. Scherer reported the theft of a guitar.
- 7:40 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 7500 block East CR 900S, South Whitley. Jon Engelhaupt reported criminal mischief and trespassing on the property of Ronald L. Pence.
- 4:44 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 4300 block East CR 200N, Warsaw. Matthew James Campbell reported his vehicle was stolen and an unknown vehicle was setting in his drive.
- 2:57 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 1800 block North CR 400E, Warsaw. An individual reported a physical altercation.
- 6:07 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 6100 block West SR 25, Mentone. Gary Barton reported the theft of a 2002 Honda.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 1:35 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 800 block North Panorama Drive, North Webster. Jasmine L. Currie reported the theft of a 2005 Chevrolet.
- 11:31 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, 800 block South Walnut Drive, North Webster. Wendy Christine Jones reported someone threw food over a concrete wall into a swimming pool.
- 2:12 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 600 block North Main Street, North Webster. Officials at Circle K. Gas Station reported a theft. Value: $255.08.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 2:54 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, 100 block North Medusa Court and East Medusa Street, Syracuse. Rebecca Pressler reported criminal mischief to property owned by the Town of Syracuse.
- 11:11 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 300 block East Maple Grove, Syracuse. Christ Cunningham notified police of a miscellaneous, non-criminal matter.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 11:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, 1200 block North Detroit Street, Warsaw. An individual reported a battery resulting in moderate bodily injury.
- 8:16 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, 1800 block Rieder Street, Warsaw. Emma N. Alonzo reported the theft of speakers, cash and an amplifier from her vehicle. Value: $650.
- 7:36 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2800 block Frontage Road, Warsaw. Officials at K-Mart, Big R, Shoe Sensation, Bath and Body Works, Dollar General, Staples Payless Shoes reported counterfeit transactions totaling $1,400.
- 12:36 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2500 block Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Jennie L. Searles reported her vehicle was damaged while parked at either Teacher’s Credit Union or Walmart.
- 7:10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 700 block South Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Officials at Short Stop reported a drive-off of gasoline.
- 4:47 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 1000 block North Park Avenue, Warsaw. Mildred M. Behnke reported criminal mischief to a vehicle.
- 7:04 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 1100 block Husky Trail, Warsaw. Officials at Martins Supermarket reported the theft of items valued at $48.86.
