SYRACUSE — Close to 200 residents and families from Syracuse and Wawasee Lakes are expected to attend this morning’s Wawasee Property Owner’s Association/Syracuse Lake Association Family Breakfast at Oakwood Resort. The breakfast event will continue until 10:30 a.m.

Organizations such as the Syracuse-Wawasee Garden Club, Syracuse-Wawasee Trails Foundation, Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation, Center for Lakes & Streams, Flotilla committee are on hand to provide information to guests. Merchandise from WACF, WPOA and Flotilla are available to purchase. Prints from the artist series and two additional prints are also available to view and purchase.

Among the highlights for kids of all ages is the display of fire equipment by the Turkey Creek Fire Territory, including a ride in the bucket of the ladder truck to see a bird’s eye view of the area. Another highlight is the creations of Ken’s Balloons.
