MARSHALL COUNTY — A South Bend woman, arrested by Marshall County Sheriff’s Department on Dec. 24, has entered into a deferral/diversion program.
Kelley Amber Bertles, 20, South Bend, was arrested by Marshall County Sheriff’s Department at approximately 10:49 p.m. Dec. 24, on an initial charges of possession of marijuana. A case summery of Bertles case shows she was also charged with possession of paraphernalia.
The court dismissed the charge of possession of paraphernalia on Feb. 15. A pretrial deferral/diversion agreement on the charge of possession of marijuana was recorded on Feb. 18. The case has been closed pursuant to the disposition. Should any violation of the agreement occur, the case will be redocketed.
