Mrs. Jennifer A. Spencer, 32, of Rochester, passed away at 7:17 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, due to injuries from a motor vehicle accident.
On Jan. 30, 1983, Jennifer was born the cherished daughter of David and Carolyn Heckathorn Bednarski. Growing up she shared her childhood with a brother Johnathon.
In Rochester on Sept. 15, 2006, Jennifer and Stacey L. Spencer were married. Together they enjoyed more than 9 1/2 years of life’s adventures.
Since April of 2014, Jennifer was a cashier for Good Oil Company at the SR 25 and SR 14 location. In her spare time she enjoyed braiding hair and creating family gifts with her handiwork of cross-stitch. Accomplished with culinary skills, Jennifer is remembered for baking; banana bread was in demand. She also had a special recipe for making soup that included ramen noodles.
Left to cherish Jennifer’s memory are her husband, Stacey; two daughters: Regina Spencer and Cheyenne Spencer; a son: Damien Neal Spencer; a grandson: Caiden Ford Isley all of Rochester; father: David Bednarski of Peru; mother and father-in-law: Judy and Arthur Spencer Sr. of Rochester; a brother: Johnathon Bednarski and wife Christina of Macy; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother.
The family of Jennifer A. Spencer will greet friends from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester to celebrate her life.
