Burtle Wireman, 99, Marshall, Mich., formerly of North Manchester, died at 2:26 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, in the Marshall Nursing & Rehabilitation Community, Marshall, Mich.
He was born April 20, 1916, in Waldo, Ky., to Silas and Cora (Wireman) Montgomery.
She married Kesier Wireman on Oct. 19, 1939. He died Jan. 13, 1971.
She was a homemaker and member of Sweetwater Assembly of God, North Manchester.
She loved to read and write in her books. She adored her dog “Skipper” and her cat “Blacky.” She loved her church and family and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors include her special friend, Carl Mantke, Marshall, Mich.; one brother, Luther Montgomery, Munith, Mich., one sister, Rebecca Arnett, Dansville, Mich., three nephews and three nieces. She was proceeded in death by two daughters and one son.
Friends may call one hour prior to the 1 p.m. service Monday, Nov. 2, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 W, North Manchester. Rev. Chad McAtee will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
