GOSHEN — It’s not too late to register for the Elkhart County Extension Homemakers Creative Holiday Ideas Program. This program is being held in the Home and Family Arts building located on the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.
Each participant will receive a booklet with recipes, patterns and instructions. The cost is $5 per person, payable at the door.
The program begins with sharing gift ideas from harvest to Christmas and beyond including designing your own cookbook to share with others, and recipes for making your own sugar scrubs. Demonstrations will include crafts for children, holiday sewing, bow making and gift wrapping, decorating with ornaments and recipes from pumpkin cake to vegetable beef soup in the slow cooker.
