Beverly J. (Sorensen) Pepple, 85, of Plymouth passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, at her home.
Beverly was born the daughter of Wagner and Edna (Schwake) Sorensen at Woodstock. Ill., on Dec. 8, 1929.
As a single young mother with seven children to raise, Beverly found herself working many jobs, including working at Whitney Products and part-time at Party Pac making many lifelong friends. Beverly enjoyed traveling and loved to spend time gardening. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. They were the light of her life.
Beverly is survived by her five daughters: Denise (Jerry) Felicicchia of LaPorte; Dawn (Dave) Tapia of Plymouth; Sherry (Dave) Shively of Claypool; Ginny Heavilin of Nashville, Tenn; and Penny (Terry) Germain of Plymouth; her son: Steven Pepple (companion, Ruth Smith) of Bourbon; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Pepple of Harvard, Ill. Beverly was also blessed with 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Jack (Betty) Sorensen of Woodstock, Ill.; several nieces and nephews, along with her dear friends, Helen Beedy, Dotty Hawkins and Sue Scott.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Mike Pepple, her brother, Tom Sorensen and her nephew, Rick Sorensen.
The Van Gilder Funeral Home is caring for the Pepple family. According to Beverly’s wishes a private family Memorial Service will be held.
