Mary Ann McClelland, 87, of Rochester passed away at noon, Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Hickory Creek.
On Jan. 11, 1928, Mary Ann was born in Terre Haute to Robert Louis and Lois Temple Haig.
In Allen County, on April 3, 1966, Mary Ann married Robert Wayne McClelland. Together they shared 35 years of life’s adventures. Sadly he passed away on Jan. 9, 2001.
An avid reader, her favorite books were “True Crime” authored by Ann Rule. Mary Ann served as a volunteer, for the Fulton County Literacy Coalition. She assisted as secretary and helped with coordinating the Annual Spell Bowl.
A life long antique buff, Mary Ann enjoyed collecting and selling antique dolls and Victorian clothing. Earlier in life she enjoyed working in an antique shop in Marshall County near Burr Oak.
Mary Ann will be lovingly remembered by: a daughter: Sally Ruth Feingold; a son: Steven Temple Feingold and wife Susan; two grandchildren: Erica Feingold and Loren Feingold; four great-grandchildren all of Niles, Ohio, many friends and associates from the Fulton County Library, and special friends Judy Case, Gordon and Ruth Bohs all of Rochester.
Preceding Mary in death are her parents and husband.
Private services will be held for Mary Ann McClelland. Arrangements have been entrusted to Good Family Funeral Home of Rochester.
