Alligator Blackbird will be featured at tonight’s Friday Night Concert by the Fountain, June 12, hosted by the Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department. The concert is in the Central Park Plaza, 225 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw.
The band will start playing at 7 p.m. and will conclude by 8:30 p.m. Bring your lawn chair or favorite blanket to sit and hear the wide genre of music. If for any reason tonight’s weather is not conducive, the concert will relocate to Lakeview Middle School Auditorium, 848 E. Smith St., Warsaw. Alligator Blackbird’s music comes from many influences across a diverse set of genres including folk, rock, pop, reggae, hip hp and soul. The group fuses together acoustic guitar, bass, keyboard, ukulele, cajon, drums and other percussions with vocal harmonies and the soulful voice of front man, Fabian Guzman.
Taking root in South Bend in 2009, the group has branched out regionally throughout Indiana, Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin. They have played over 500 shows since inception and opened for a variety of artists including Shawn Mullins, Boombox, The Pinstripes and The Wailers.
There will be a drawing for door prizes following the concert. Individual’s must be present to win.
