The Kosciusko County Sheriffs Department are asking the public’s help in locating the driver and vehicle of a hit and run accident Monday evening on CR 100E and CR 300N, near Warsaw.
Police are looking for a possible charcoal gray vehicle with extensive passenger side damage.
Officers responded to the intersection of CR 100E and CR 300N regarding a leaving the scene crash at 10:06 p.m.
Witnesses told police the victim driver, who has not been identified, was going northbound on CR 100E, preparing to turn right onto CR 300N. The suspect vehicle was following the victim’s vehicle and attempted to pass the victim’s vehicle but struck the other vehicle. The suspect then continued northbound on CR 100E. The only description that could be given to police by the victim driver was the vehicle appeared to be charcoal gray in color with extensive passenger side damage.
