Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
9:10 p.m. Thursday, May 7, South SR 25, south of West CR 150S, Warsaw. Driver: Trevis A. Smith, 24, South CR 700W, Claypool. Smith swerved to miss a deer, went off right side of road, down a ditch and sideswiped a utility pole. He refused medical attention. Damage up to $5,000.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
6:12 p.m. Thursday, May 7, East Winona Avenue and South Indiana Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Evelyn F. Daggett, 18, School Street, Winona Lake, and Monica L. Holloway, 23, Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw. Daggett’s vehicle hit the back of the Holloway vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
10:23 a.m. Thursday, May 7, Old Colony Road and Oak Brook Place, Warsaw. Keith A. Knox, 49, Blue Jacket Path, Lakeview, Ohio. Knox was hauling a mobile home within the Forest Park Mobile Home Community, when the tail end of the mobile home made cotact with two mailboxes. Damage up to $5,000.
8:44 a.m. Thursday, May 7, South Detroit Street, north of East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Joel S. Bailey, 39, North Wabash Street, Wabash, and Jennifer E. Salsgiver, 28, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Bailey hit the back of Salsgiver’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
