Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
1:49 p.m. Sunday, May 3, East Main Street east of South Morgan Street, Mentone. Drivers; Margaret L. LaFrance, 39, East Center Street, Bourbon, and Melinda s. Burton, 48, North CR 800E, Rochester. LaFrance passed the Burton vehicle on the right and collided when Burton was making a right turn. Damage up to $2,500.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:
6 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, South Syracuse-Webster Road and East Cardinal Drive, Syracuse. Driver: Patricia L. Miller, 53, CR 25, Syracuse. Hit dog. Damage up to $2,500.
2:02 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, South Huntington Street, north of East Bowser Road, Syracuse. A vehicle, registered to Erica J. Weisser, North Blacks Court, North Webster, was found crashed in a ditch by a passing motorist. Weisser had reported the vehicle stolen. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
8:49 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, Provident Court, Warsaw. Michael Wilson, East CR 700N, Leesburg, discovered his vehicle had been struck sometime between noon and 4 p.m. It was parked in an area where there should have been no traffic by the general public. Damage up to $1,000.
