Brooke S. Kelly, 24, Lura Circle, Milford, was airlifted by Samaritan Helicopter to a Fort Wayne hospital after suffering a fracture/dislocation of the knee/lower leg in a one-vehicle accident. The accident was at 3:15 p.m. on CR 500E, north of CR 650N, near North Webster.
Police report Kelly was southbound on CR 500E, north of CR 650N, in a 2001 Chevrolet S-10, when for an unknown reason her vehicle went off the east side of the roadway, hitting a large tree. The vehicle ended up in a water filled ditch. North Webster Fire Department extricated Kelly, who was trapped in the vehicle.
North Webster police, fire and EMS, and Samaritan Helicopter crew responded with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
Damage was estimated up to $10,000.
