Bourbon
Officers with the Bourbon Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 1:38 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, US 30 and SR 331. Police stopped a vehicle for speeding and found the driver, Eli F. Vasquez, Fort Wayne, was intoxicated and did not have a license. He was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and booked in the Marshall County Jail. His bond was set at $1,500 cash.
- 2 a.m. Sunday, March 29, US 30 and Fir Road. Police stopped a vehicle or crossing over the center line. During the investigation it was found the passenger of the vehicle, Patrick A. Ambrose, 22, Peru, was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail. His bond was set at $500.
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 1:26 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 9700 block South SR 15, Silver Lake. Charles J. Allen reported a burglary to an outside structure. Taken were five guns, ammunition and magazines. Value: $3,658.99.
- 6:28 p.m. Monday, March 30, 9200 block South SR 15, Silver Lake. Rosa L. Nunez reported forced entry into her residence.
- 2:15 p.m. Monday, March 30, 3600 block North CR 175E, Warsaw. Patricia M. Sanchez reported someone had cashed her payroll checks.
- 2:38 p.m. Monday, March 30, 1700 block West Maple Lane, Claypool. Allison N. Foster reported the theft of her purse and money from her vehicle.
- 9:23 a.m. Monday, March 30, 9700 block South Pheasant Place, Claypool. James M. Buskirk reported a residence was broken into. Taken were a computer monitor and medication. Value $220.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 8:29 p.m. Monday, March 30, 1200 block Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Officials at Meijer reported the theft of jewelry, hooded jackets, T-shirts. Two juveniles were detained for the thefts. Value: $78.
- 4:15 p.m. Monday, March 30, 1100 block East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. Mark A. Holbrook II reported a burglary to his residence. Taken were medication and a microwave. Value: $3,000.
- 3:56 p.m. Monday, March 30, 1100 block West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Kenneth W. Jones reported the theft of an LP propane tank from a recreational vehicle.
